Portfolio Updates
Abaxx Technologies (ABXX): Josh Crumb, the CEO of Abaxx, has confirmed that Mizuho is partially onboarded onto the Abaxx Exchange. Mizuho’s clients can now trade Abaxx’s futures contracts. This is the largest financier in the LNG space and one of Japan’s three mega banks. While it will take months for liquidity to ramp up, this should be the start of broader access to Abaxx’s futures products for participants in the sector. The company is also in negotiations with potential strategic investors to buy stakes in the exchange (subsidiary) in an effort to raise funds and guarantee trading activity on the exchange.
Aduro Clean Technologies (ADUR): Aduro recently received a Notice of Effectiveness from the SEC to uplist onto the NasdaqCM. All the company needs now is approval from Nasdaq, and the firm should uplist to American markets shortly. The ticker will change from ACTHF to ADUR. Otherwise, Aduro continues to prepare for the development of a larger plastic recycling pilot unit in 2025.
Base Carbon (BCBN): The ICAO, which oversees CORSIA, approved Verra-issued carbon credits for CORSIA usage. This is great news for Base, as their credits from the Rwanda cookstove project (and potentially Vietnam if approved for A6) could garner significant market premiums. Abaxx CORSIA futures currently trade around $20. Compare that to the average cookstove credit price of ~$5… things could get interesting soon.

CleanCore Solutions (ZONE) - Waiting for another 1-2 quarters of financials to see how the numbers look.
Zefiro Methane (ZEFI) - Waiting for results from the U.S. election to reassess. Funding from the Inflation Reduction Act will significantly affect its growth prospects.
