Hello, I hope you’ve found the Green Investing service useful so far. If you have any recommendations for what you might want to see content-wise, or ways I can improve anything, let me know!
Green Monthly is the monthly series in which I outline my stock positioning, highlight the new names that have been added to the stock lists or watch list, and provide other commentary.
Portfolio Updates
Abaxx Technologies: The company has commenced trading on its commodity exchange. This is a significant milestone. The slight pullback we’ve seen in the stock makes little sense to me, but that’s investing for you. Now we need to watch the stock over the next few quarters to see how much liquidity they can build in their futures contracts. Reaching financial breakeven and increasing cash flows will eventually cause this stock to re-rate.
Aduro Clean Technologies: This stock is up approximately 50% this month due to news of uplisting to the NYSE American, and signing a collaboration agreement with TotalEnergies. This was the first of six multi-billion dollar companies to advance from the technical evaluation of Aduro’s recycling technology, to the collaboration stage. Upcoming catalysts include further collaboration agreements and results from testing in the Shell GameChanger program.
Base Carbon: Quite frankly, Base is one of the most undervalued stocks I’ve ever seen. Set to trade at around 1x FCF this year, already generating significant revenues… there isn’t much more this stock to do better. The market simply doesn’t care because of the current state of the voluntary carbon markets (VCMs). No doubt there is some legitimacy to the hesitancy. VCMs have been in a poor state… but this has had little impact on Base. In the meantime, the company continues to buy back shares, so if sentiment in the VCMs turnaround, this stock could be explosive to the upside. I have no idea when the market will realize how great this company is doing, but I’m fine with waiting it out.
I’m looking into a stock that could potentially be my first paid-only addition to the stock portfolio. With that said, no promises. I’m still researching the business.
I have no quota for new stock write-ups in this service. Other newsletters do their readers a disservice by forcing themselves to post new ideas on a set schedule. No one benefits when a service forces itself to post at regular intervals, and there aren’t any guarantees we’ll find a solid stock in a given time period. That means other services are likely posting subpar ideas because they have to.
I refuse to sacrifice quality for the sake of a deadline. There’s no reason to rush when investing. Before I buy a new stock, I want to ensure it’s high-quality, potentially even better than the ones I already own. Otherwise, we should really just be buying the existing stocks in our portfolios.
Watch List Additions
Zefiro Methane (Methane Corp)
This company is highly dependent on the results of the next election in the United States. If Donald Trump wins, we’ll have to see what happens to the government funding efforts for plugging orphaned O&G wells. There’s a decent probability he will pull back a lot of the funding efforts the government is doing.

Note: I’m not advocating for any stock by adding it to a stock list. Assume the only stocks I own myself or have vetted are listed in my portfolio or watch list. Always do your own research before making any investment decisions. My content should not be considered financial advice.
I don’t know if you want to listen to the upcoming 2nd quarter earnings report of some stocks that I have mentioned, but even if they do not meet all of your investing criteria, you might find their reports helpful and interesting.
I’m thinking of ABAT, AMTX, AQMS, LODE and NRGV. I own some shares in all of these. I dollar cost average over time and titre the amount of shares purchased based on the company’s progress.
