Gevo, Inc. (GEVO) has acquired Cultivate Agricultural Intelligence (CultivateAI) for $6 million in cash, with additional earn-out potential. CultivateAI will be integrated into Gevo's Verity business unit, enhancing Verity's capabilities in carbon accounting and agricultural data analytics. CultivateAI's SaaS platform provides real-time agricultural data to help farmers, agronomists, and researchers make informed decisions.
Hyliion's (HYLN) KARNO fuel-agnostic generator is now eligible under California’s Renewables Portfolio Standard (RPS), allowing it to contribute to the state's renewable energy goals. The KARNO generator can utilize various renewable fuels, including landfill gas, biogas, and hydrogen, for low-emission power generation. California's RPS requires 60% of electricity to come from renewable sources by 2030, with a target of carbon neutrality by 2045.
