Amprius Technologies (AMPX) has signed a non-binding Letter of Intent (LOI) with a Fortune Global 500 company to develop high-energy cells for Light Electric Vehicle (LEV) applications. The agreement could lead to multi-GWh battery orders over a five-year period, enhancing the LEV product range with a 25% capacity improvement. Amprius will begin shipping the first batch of these cells this year.
