NANO Nuclear Energy (NNE) and Digihost Technology have jointly submitted a response to New York State Energy Research and Development Authority's (NYSERDA) Request for Information to support the development of advanced nuclear energy technologies. The collaboration builds on their recent agreement to transition Digihost’s 60 MW power plant to carbon-free energy using NANO Nuclear’s microreactors, ZEUS and ODIN.
EMX Royalty Corporation (EMX.V) has acquired up to a 2% Net Smelter Return (NSR) royalty interest in the Chapi copper mine in Peru and nearby properties through a $3 million payment to Minera Pampa de Cobre (MPC). By February 2025, an additional 1% NSR can be acquired for $7 million. The Chapi Mine, previously in operation until 2012, is slated for a restart by Quilla Resources Inc., which aims to produce 10,000 tonnes of copper cathodes annually by 2026.
NextDecade Corporation (NEXT) secured a $175 million loan from General Atlantic Credit's Atlantic Park Fund to repay existing debt, support working capital, and fund expansion trains 4 and 5 at its Rio Grande LNG facility. The loan includes a 12% interest rate and warrants exercisable at $7.15 and $9.30 per share. Despite regulatory setbacks, the company has achieved 30.5% completion of Phase 1 of its LNG project and recently signed a $4.3 billion contract with Bechtel for a fourth liquefaction train.

FutureFuel Corporation (FF) has secured IRS approval for excise tax registration, enabling it to qualify for the Section 45Z clean fuel production tax credit starting January 2025. This positions the company to capitalize on its 60-million-gallon annual biodiesel production capacity as it awaits further IRS guidance on the credit.
Enovix Corporation (ENVX) has completed Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for its High Volume Manufacturing line at Fab2 in Malaysia. This achievement follows earlier Factory Acceptance Testing and prepares the facility for mass production in 2025. The company aims to meet growing demand for high-energy-density batteries.
Oklo Inc. (OKLO) and Switch have partnered to deploy 12 GW of advanced nuclear power by 2044 under a master power agreement, marking one of the largest corporate clean power deals. Oklo, backed by Sam Altman, is progressing with its first microreactor project at Idaho National Laboratory and expanding its pipeline across multiple U.S. states.
dynaCERT (DYA.TO) has appointed Seth Baruch, a sustainability expert, to its Advisory Board and engaged Carbonomics to implement Verra Carbon Credit Projects. Baruch, with extensive experience in carbon offset markets, will focus on leveraging dynaCERT’s HydraGEN™ technology for decarbonizing the transport sector. Carbonomics will support project development, approvals, and monetization of carbon credits.
