Portfolio - Aduro Clean Technologies (ADUR) has engaged Zeton Inc, an experienced engineering firm, to design and build a new pilot plant for its recycling technology. This modular, scalable plant will be located in London, Ontario, and is scheduled for completion in Q3 2025.
As mentioned in this press release, Aduro is only building a 10 kg/hour pilot unit. This will be another smaller unit than the expected several tons per day recycling rate they projected previously. We should get confirmation about this change soon… but the common assumption is that this unit is being built to better model what a commercial unit would look like— instead of focusing on scaling to a larger size as they planned originally.
Watchlisted - Zefiro Methane (ZEFI) has successfully completed its first gas well remediation project in Custer County, Oklahoma, marking an expansion into a new state. The project will generate carbon offset products certified by the American Carbon Registry. Zefiro plans to extend its operations to states like Texas and Louisiana next year, contributing to nationwide well-sealing efforts.
